시험 구성Format#

시험은 객관식(MC)과 임상 케이스(CC) 두 부분으로 나뉘고, 각각 총점의 절반을 차지합니다.The exam has two components, multiple-choice (MC) and clinical case (CC), each worth half of the total score.

CC는 40문항이 125문항과 같은 비중을 나눠 가지기 때문에, CC 한 문항은 MC 약 3문항만큼의 가치가 있습니다. 케이스 추론 연습에 시간을 더 배정하는 것이 좋습니다.Because 40 CC items carry the same weight as 125 MC items, one CC item is worth about three MC items. Give case reasoning more of your study time.

케이스에 나오는 정보What a case gives you

• 나이와 성별, 주소증과 기간 (예: 2일간 이어진 두통)Age and sex, chief complaint and duration (e.g. headache for two days)
• 병력, 신체 소견, 설과 맥History, physical findings, tongue and pulse
• 경우에 따라 검사 결과, 초기 치료, 이후 경과Sometimes test results, first treatment and follow-up

채점 규칙Scoring#

• 모든 문항은 최대 1점입니다. 틀리거나 비워도 감점이 없으니 빈칸은 남기지 않습니다.Every item is worth at most one mark. Wrong or blank answers cost nothing, so never leave a blank.
• 복수선택 문항은 고를 개수가 문제에 적혀 있고, 맞힌 보기마다 부분 점수를 줍니다.Multiple-select items state how many to choose and give partial marks for each correct choice.
• 정해진 개수보다 많이 고르면 그 문항은 0점입니다. 시험 화면은 개수가 틀려도 알려 주지 않습니다.Choosing more than required scores zero. The exam screen won't warn you about the count.

영역별 출제 비중Blueprint#

핸드북이 정한 영역별 출제 비율입니다. "총점 몫"은 MC와 CC의 중간값을 반반 합친 값으로, 그 영역이 실제 총점에서 차지하는 몫입니다.The handbook's share of items for each area. "Of total" combines the MC and CC midpoints half and half: the area's real share of your total.

TCM Foundations와 Diagnostics & Treatment가 총점의 약 3분의 2입니다. Herbal Dispensary Management는 이 시험에 나오지 않고, Acupuncture Techniques는 MC에만 있습니다.TCM Foundations and Diagnostics & Treatment make up about two-thirds of your score. Herbal Dispensary Management isn't on this exam, and Acupuncture Techniques appears only in MC.

인지 수준Cognitive levels

핸드북에 따르면 문항의 70–90%가 임상 상황에 지식을 적용하는 문제입니다. 외운 내용을 변증과 치료 선택으로 연결하는 연습이 중요합니다.The handbook says 70–90% of items apply knowledge to clinical situations. Practise turning what you know into pattern and treatment choices.

출제 범위Scope#

임신 전부터 임종기까지 전 생애의 환자가 나오고, 가족이나 집단을 다루는 문항도 있습니다. TCM 질환은 다음 여섯 분과에서 출제됩니다(Appendix K).Patients span the lifespan, from preconception to end of life, and some items concern families or groups. TCM conditions come from six specialties (Appendix K).

급성 임상 상황(중독, 출혈, 혼수, 쇼크, 뇌졸중, 외상)은 Safety 영역과 맞물려 의뢰와 응급 판단 문제로 자주 나옵니다.Acute clinical conditions (poisoning, bleeding, coma, shock, stroke, trauma) overlap with Safety and often appear as referral and emergency decisions.

시험 표기 규칙Exam terminology#

• 영어 먼저, 병음은 괄호 안에 씁니다. English first, pinyin in brackets. Front Points (Mu Xue), Well (Jing) Points
• TCM 용어는 대문자로 시작하고 서양의학 용어는 소문자로 씁니다. Liver는 TCM의 장부와 경락, liver는 해부학의 간입니다.TCM terms are capitalized and biomedical terms are not: Liver is the TCM organ and channel, liver is the anatomical organ.
• 경락 코드Channel codes: LU, LI, ST, SP, HT, SI, BL, KI, PC, TE, GB, LR, GV, CV
• 특정혈Point categories: Cleft Points (Xi), Eight Influential or Gathering Points (Ba Hui), Eight Confluent Points (Ba Mai Jiao Hui), Lower Sea Points (Xia He)
• 변증 체계Pattern systems: Organ Differentiation (Zang Fu), Triple Energizer Differentiation (San Jiao), Four Levels (Wei Qi Ying Xue), Six Stages (Liu Jing)

색이 칠해진 줄은 시험 표기가 Maciocia와 다른 맥입니다. 시험에서 Full은 Hong(洪)이고, Shi(實)는 Excessive입니다. Full-Heat 같은 팔강 패턴 이름은 그대로 씁니다.Highlighted rows are where the exam differs from Maciocia. On the exam, Full means Hong, and Shi is Excessive. Eight-principle names such as Full-Heat stay the same.

핸드북이 권하는 풀이 요령How the handbook says to take the test

• 보기를 보기 전에 답을 먼저 떠올립니다. 필요한 정보는 문제 안에 다 있습니다.Think of the answer before reading the options; the stem has what you need.
• 문제를 있는 그대로 읽습니다. 일부러 꼬아 놓은 문제는 없고, 가장 맞는 답은 하나입니다.Read each item at face value. None are meant to mislead, and there's one best answer.
• 애매하면 북마크하고 넘어갑니다. 끝에서 북마크하거나 건너뛴 문항을 다시 보여 줍니다.Bookmark and move on when unsure; the platform lists bookmarked and skipped items at the end.
• MC는 문항당 약 72초, CC는 약 3분 45초입니다. 한 문항에 오래 머물지 않습니다.You have about 72 seconds per MC item and 3 minutes 45 seconds per CC item. Keep moving.
• 약한 영역만 보지 말고 모든 영역을 고르게 복습합니다.Review every area, not only your weak ones.

시험장 규칙Test centre rules

취소나 연기는 규제기관 마감일 전에 서면으로 해야 환불받을 수 있습니다. 응급 상황이라면 시험 당일까지 CARB-TCMPA에 Compassionate Withdrawal Form을 제출합니다.Cancel or defer in writing before your regulator's deadline to get a refund. In an emergency, send CARB-TCMPA a Compassionate Withdrawal Form by exam day.

결과와 재응시Results and retakes#

• MC와 CC를 합친 환산 점수가 400 이상이면 합격입니다. 영역별 과락은 없습니다.You pass with a combined scaled score of 400 or more. There's no cut-off per area.
• 합격선은 이전 시험지와 통계적으로 맞추기(equating) 때문에, 어떤 시험지를 받아도 합격할 확률은 같습니다.Pass marks are equated to earlier forms, so every form gives the same chance of passing.
• 결과는 시험 후 약 8–10주 뒤, 규제기관이 우편이나 포털로 보냅니다. 전화나 팩스로는 알려 주지 않습니다.Your regulator sends results by mail or portal about 8–10 weeks later, never by phone or fax.
• 불합격하면 영역별 점수를 받지만, 핸드북은 이걸로 다음 시험을 예측하지 말라고 합니다.If you don't pass you get area sub-scores, which the handbook says not to use as a predictor.
• 재응시 여부와 횟수는 주 규제기관이 정하고, 다시 볼 때마다 응시료를 새로 냅니다.Your provincial regulator decides retakes and their limit, and each retake is paid again.
• 이의신청은 시험 환경 문제만 할 수 있습니다. 문항 내용은 이의신청 대상이 아닙니다.Appeals cover administration problems only. Item content can't be appealed.
